Eleanor Vaiden Ferrell
Eleanor Vaiden Ferrell, 83, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019.
A native of Halifax County, Vaiden was the daughter of the late Rupert Earl "Peter" and Mary Catherine Hutchinson Ferrell.
Vaiden grew up in Roanoke Rapids, and was a member of First Baptist Church most of her life. She retired from the Virginia Employment Commission.
She is survived by her cousin, Tommy Thompson and his wife, Julie, of Jupitor, Florida.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Raymond Wickham officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
